Two friends, Fred & his wife Nathalie I met while exhibiting my photos, have been very generous to me, I now have a door for my living room, a velux window for my kitchen and a couple of beams to get me started on the living room floor.

The plastering continues. Removed the tiles on the only remaining section of roof on the ruin too, they looked a bit precarious.

Got back from a few days work in the UK last Sunday. Cut up some logs ready for the cold that's surely on the way. Put some beams up over the main door entrance in the kitchen and put some old corrugated iron up to keep out the rain in that section so I can store a few bits and bobs in there. Made the window frame for the little window next to the wood burner and fitted it, and fitted the flue. The rest of the time I've been plastering but mostly over where I've plastered before but where it was still rough so it's not very evident in the photos.
